About Cara
Sparkling. Gracious. Intentional.
As an actor, singer and teacher, Cara has been giving voice to a wide variety of stories for decades. Her performing credits include opera, musical theatre and symphony guest artist appearances. She teaches musical theatre and voice at St. Edward's University.
Cara began narrating audiobooks during Covid-19 when live performances were nonexistent and it was love at first sentence. From her professional home studio in Austin, TX, Cara has recorded dozens of titles, with special interests in literary and historical fiction, memoir, mystery, magic, art, food and travel.
As a fan of the Austin food scene, Cara can confirm that yes, Franklin BBQ is worth standing in line for hours. She was briefly a Pillsbury Bake-Off Finalist before getting booted prior to the actual competition. It's a long story...

Cara is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and Actor's Equity Association.
